By booking a workshop or residency with Artisan by Asha, the client (individual or organization) agrees to the following terms:
1. Bookings and Payments
Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a signed agreement and the required deposit.
Payment Schedule: For international residencies, 50% of the fee is due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to the event date.
Currency: All transactions are processed in EUR (€) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Intellectual Property (IP) Protection
Ownership: All workshop materials, including scientific frameworks (Soil Microbiology models), culinary recipes (Farm Dining, Cooking Workshops, Syrup), and strategy documents, are the exclusive property of Artisan by Asha.
Usage License: Clients are granted a limited, nontransferable license to use the materials provided during the session for personal or internal organizational growth only.
Restrictions: Participants may not film, record, or reproduce the workshop content for commercial resale or public distribution without prior written authorization.
3. International Residency Logistics
Client Obligations: For international travel, the client is responsible for providing the agreedupon venue, local farmer introductions (if applicable), and any specific local permits required.
Travel Expenses: Unless bundled into the workshop fee, travel, accommodation, and local transport for the Artisan by Asha team will be billed to the client at cost.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Client Cancellation: Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event are eligible for a partial refund (less administrative costs). Cancellations within 30 days are nonrefundable but may be eligible for rescheduling upon prior agreement.
Force Majeure: Artisan by Asha is not liable for failures to perform due to "acts of God," international travel restrictions, or unforeseen health emergencies. In such cases, we will strive to offer a digital alternative or a future credit.
5. Liability and Safety
Participant Safety: While we provide all ingredients and tools, participants are responsible for disclosing food allergies or physical limitations prior to the workshop.
Limitation of Liability: Artisan by Asha is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from participation in our sessions.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in The Netherlands.
