As specialists in soil microbiology, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond reducing plastic. We focus on the biological foundation of our food system. Our operations are guided by four core pillars:
1. Rhizosphere Advocacy
We exclusively partner with Dutch farmers who prioritize soil life. By supporting regenerative practices—such as minimal tillage, cover cropping, and the maintenance of fungal-to-bacterial ratios—we ensure that our red beets and carrots are carbon-sequestering powerhouses before they ever reach our facility.
2. Low-Intervention Processing
To honor the work of the soil, we use a science-led, low-heat extraction process. This minimizes energy consumption while preserving the heat-sensitive nitrates and betalains that make our functional syrups unique. We deliver nutrition as nature intended, with zero synthetic additives.
3. Radical Transparency & Circularity
We are committed to a "Zero-Waste" philosophy in our production:
Upcycling: Our pulp by-products are used as a pigment for our food art workshops.
Packaging: Our "Windmill" and RUBY bottles are designed for recyclability while prioritizing longevity of the product.
4. Global Knowledge Transfer
Sustainability is a global necessity. Through our Global Advocacy Tour, we commit a portion of our time and resources to teaching value-added agricultural techniques to farming communities worldwide. We don't just export service or products; we export the knowledge required to build resilient, local food systems.
"Our goal is to leave the Dutch soil richer than we found it."
